About the Author
Like many of us, my passion for small cars started in the 90s. That initial fire was accidentally reignited in May 2016 when I spotted a blue Tesla Model S at a supermarket. Just like that, I was back in the game. My collection quickly grew to over 700 models, focusing on castings that genuinely inspire me - from Audis to Ferraris.
As my collection grew, the childhood simplicity disappeared, and I faced the chaos every serious collector eventually hits: How do you organize, track, and protect it all? I tried everything - phone galleries, clunky spreadsheets, Instagram albums - nothing worked. The frustration of not knowing what I owned or what I still needed was real.
My background is unique: I'm a Mechanical Engineer (M.Sc.) who spent over a decade working in high-level sales. This background taught me the core principles of recognizing real value, spotting market trends, and building reliable systems. I realized I could apply this analytical, strategic approach directly to my hobby.
